How did you meet?

When Mike was bartending at Barden's... the rest is history

Michele 

What first attracted you to each other?

Michele- His smile and the way he made me laugh :)

Michael- Your eyes and as much as I hate dancing...your dancing and carefree spirit. You like to have a good time and don't care what anyone thinks when you're doing it. 

What is your favorite memory with each other?

Michele- Our time together in the hospital after each one of our kids especially after Lyida.. it was like a vacation away from everything with our new babe! 

Michael- Our first time flying to Vegas together. It was then when you made me feel like everything was fine and I realized I can get over my anxiety and try new things. You are to thank for that :) 

What is your favorite way of spending time together?

Michele- Going to the casino or having slumber parties at home.

Michael- When it is just you and me on a date or vacation together and we can just be with each other by ourselves even vegging in bed all day. I also love having pool parties in our backyard when able. 

How did you get engaged?

One Saturday afternoon Mike set up a scavenger hunt for the kids. He drew a map up for them and had emeralds hidden around the house. The kids had so much fun doing this. After finding the last emerald they had to find the last treasure. The last treasure was a grocery bag for each kid to open. The bags were full of new toys. We were sitting in the living room, and the kids were so excited to be getting new toys for "no reason". As the kids were opening their bags full of Legos, Barbies, and everything else they wanted I could feel myself getting a little upset with Mike! Why were the kids getting all of these toys when we just had Christmas a couple of weeks ago? I continued to try and be excited for the kids but wonder what the heck was going on?!? Finally, I could no longer stay quiet, and I turned around because Mike was behind me and I was going to ask him what was going on here. Before I could get my words out of my mouth Mike was down on one knee with a ring and popped the question! 

Why did you decide on a destination wedding?

Neither one of us wanted a big traditional wedding and who doesn't want a vacation!!
